Overview
My Role
Organizing and managing corporate events are not that easy compared to normal events bookings. One has to go through lots of approval process to finally get it on the stage. Meetz mobile app was a solution to simplify the process and save human effort.

Everything is offline as of now and it taking a lot of time to convert a booking . and creating invoice and keeping a record of all the events is hectic. event managers spend the most time at the site or they will be traveling. So they needed some product which helps them to manage event even they are away

As of now the operational team only managing the request creations also, the get mail and follow up with the event managers through phone then create a request in internal system.. Yeah its complex and lengthy process
After going through the process, it was clear that most of that it takes too much time to get a response from the client. Accepting or rejecting the venue is one of them.
Adding additional services
Feature to add extra services like airport transfer and audiovisuals from the app itself. as of now, they are sending an email each time to make some changes or if they want any extra services
3. Time
Understand the business process and users
Since the project was at the alpha stage and everything was offline as of now, without proper research it will be difficult to go forward, it is not making the UI pretty there should be an increment in the number after the project is shipped. so understanding the plot and business was important. I had lots of discussion and interviews with stakeholders and the operational team who is working offline from last couple of months

Wireframe
After going through the product, the first thing I noticed was the flow and navigation. it was no where similar to something we have seen in other booking platforms. it was difficult. for example, to view the previous booking I have made there was no button or tab which will take me to the trips page.

Apart from the UI, did some Illustrations for the product. I believe these illustrations will bring little more friendliness to the product

Impact
After the alpha release, we tested the app with some of our trusted clients and they were happy with the product. obviously, that doesn't mean that is the final product. there were a couple of customizations client asked for, we are still taking feedbacks and planning to release to more clients.
The average time to confirm a booking is now 9 hours before it used to take close to 1.5 days
